Mausoleum of Sheikh Muslihiddin

The mausoleum of Sheikh Muslihiddin in 1972 was included in the register of historical and cultural monuments, located in the city of Khujand, Sughd region. 

The mausoleum of Sheikh Muslihidin is the burial place of the famous poet of the XIII century, Muslihiddin Khujandi. The mausoleum provides a small burial chamber made of square baked bricks. After the restoration, the mausoleum of Sheikh Muslihiddin appears as a two-story portal-dome structure with a central hall "ziyoratkhona" and a domed "gurkhona". Over the centuries, a whole ensemble of burial structures, a cemetery with many burials, has formed around the monument.
