Fortress Kalai Mir

"Kalai Mir" fortress is located in Kubodiyon district of Khatlon region. The settlement has an area of ​​7.4 hectares and consists of the citadel of the inner and outer city. The remains of the late medieval walls and gates of the courtyard have been preserved. The monument is of paramount importance for the study of the ancient and early medieval history of southern Tajikistan.
